Re: AD9680-1000EBZ Unusually High Input Power

Hi Umesh,

I started testing at higher frequencies, 750 MHz and 950 MHz, and I noticed that Channel A seems to require a lot of power to reach -1 dBFS at those frequencies, while Channel B does not. Is this consistent with the test data of the board?

Here are the power levels (dBm) required to reach -1 dBFS taken at the input to the eval board:

750 MHz, 16.43 (Channel A), 14.21 (Channel B)

950 MHz, 17.47 (Channel A), 14.54 (Channel B)

Channel B seems to require much less power (at least 2 dBm less) to reach -1 dBFS. Looking at the schematic, both have the exact same balun and matching network, so they should give identical results. It is possible that I damaged Channel A previously because I have done the majority of my testing on it so far. Could you tell me if this is normal performance?
