Hey Emmanuel,
I see your message in my inbox, but when I clock on it nothing happens. I've tried in both firefox and IE. Some of the buttons don't seem to work in my inbox view. Same for the drop down menu for my name in the upper right hand corner. When I click nothing happens. Could just shoot me an email at m3atwad@gmail.com? Once I get it I can remove my address from here and I can get you the information. I think there are some improvements that could be made if someone like you saw it.
Let me try to hit some of your points while I'm on here.
1. This device is not designed for only one specific sensors. Customers may use a variety which I won't have complete control over. The base line sensor I'm developing for has a bridge resistance of ~600 ohms. I measured (with a multimeter) between the two differential (+/-) output signals.
2. The RC filter I have up front was put together from some simple calculations 1/(2*pi*r*c) and tested to allow a test sine wave through. The one you've seen in the trace screen shots I posted. Any recommendations here would be welcome.
3. My comment about the gain was a bit misleading and I figured I would be able to get you the schematics by now. Once you see the schematics it will make more sense. The 8237 only provides a gain of 10. I have another gain amp providing another 10.
I was trying to steer clear of the FB pin because I want to eliminate any dc offsets which is another reason for the caps on the inputs.
Shoot me an email and I'll get you some data that will probably eliminate a little bit of confusion
